CHOOSE A REALTOR/LENDER TEAM YOU FEEL YOU CAN TRUST
Your first two important decisions are choosing a REALTOR to represent you and a lender to partner with for your loan. You receive my services free of charge since the seller pays the commission. In addition, you will get 25 years experience helping buyers like yourself make sound and sensible decisions in the home buying process. When choosing your lender keep in mind it is the lowest house payment, not the lowest interest rate that you are most interested in. I’ll be happy to explain.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT HOME FOR YOU
Successful homebuyers choose their homes as a combination of the right location to support their daily lifestyles and the right floor plans to live in comfort and enjoy life at home. Your lender will tell you how much house you can afford to own, and if you are paying cash, you already know. As your REALTOR, I will have enough distance from the emotional side of buying a home that you can rely on me to advise you about pros and cons of the home you choose.
NEGOTIATE A WIN WIN DEAL
If you want your seller to do something nice for you, offer to do something nice for them. Each party should feel they are getting something of value out of the deal. As your REALTOR, I can help you negotiate with the seller to get as much value as possible out of the negotiation and still make the seller happy.
UNDERSTAND EXPECTATIONS. KEEP YOUR PROMISES
A sales agreement is a set of promises made to the seller by the buyer and vice versa. Once those promises are made, the buyer and seller are expected to keep them. Do everything you can to keep your promises and expect the seller to keep their promises too. Sometimes unexpected problems arise before the closing. You want experienced partners by your side who can help solve those problems so you can still buy the home. I haven’t seen it all, but I have solved a lot of problems.
